PR/ Lazy Oaf Live Project

 

Brief: "Research and react to the brand; Lazy Oaf. Focus on the target audience, competitors, platforms, distribution, price and aesthetic." Within a group of four, we created a PR consultancy with the aim of improving the menswear section of the quirky brand; `Lazy Oaf'. We formed an identity for our PR consultancy;'Bad Blend' and it was our aim to bring awareness to the brand Lazy Oaf, focusing on its unique selling points and aims and objectives. Through researching the brand, we identified the strengths and weaknesses of the business in order to create a successful professional and viable campaign that would increase the awareness of the brand and attract new consumers whilst maintaining existing ones. We were given a budget of £1000 and samples from Lazy Oaf's SS16 menswear collection to work with. It was a challenge to think big and be creative whilst maintaining within this budget, however, our outcome was successful. We created a lookbook, fashion film and a launch party presentation. The project was a competition and our group made it to the final enabling us to present our ideas to the client.
