Visual Communication/ Fanzine

Brief: "Produce a fanzine that presents a current overview of fashions relationship with music and subcultures." I researched into different subcultures and music genres and decided to create a fanzine that focused on the 70s. From this research, I narrowed it down to one artist, David Bowie, as he was and still is one of the most influential icons in both music and fashion. Within this project, we were able to experiment with many different graphic techniques such as Screen printing, Mono printing, collage, bookbinding and typography. This then allowed us to create a physical fanzine. My fanzine showed a visual timeline of Bowie's work, presenting both lyrics and illustrations drawn by myself or created using various techniques I listed above.
